Glazing and re putty is a crucial part of almost every sash window service and draught proof.
Whilst the service and draught proof is taking place the sashes are mostly relocated to a workshop to be re puttied.
Sometimes not all the putty needs to be removed from the sashes and that can conserve the customers budget. When only the damaged putty is removed it also limits the risk of cracking the glass in the sashes.
Glass can be replaced but must be done so like for like on listed buildings. This means if you have restoration glass it will need to be restoration glass put back in the sashes.
